The project involved fully stripping the existing roof and re-roofing using reclaimed tiles to maintain the cottage’s traditional aesthetic to the front, while new handmade tiles were installed to the rear. This approach ensured the building retained its historic charm while benefiting from a durable and high-quality roofing system.
Comprehensive leadwork was also undertaken, including new installations around chimneys, dormers, and abutments. Each element was completed with precision to provide long-lasting weather protection while remaining in keeping with the property’s heritage features.
