Roofing for a new housing development
Shepard Place was a new build residential project, made up of both social and private housing. The development consisted of four four-bedroom detached houses with garages and a block of six two-bedroom flats.
The roofing utilised a clay handmade Tudor tile, while handmade bullnose tile hanging featured as a special design.
Detailed lead work was carried out around the properties including the chimneys and flashings, Velux windows and mitred hipped porches.

Restricted Access & Ecological Compliance
The scheme was located in a village centre on a small site with restricted access. Deliveries were timed outside of retail hours.
As the site was situated in a bat protected area, it was important to work closely with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environment Management to ensure the works did not disturb roosting bats. Temporary bat roosts were erected while the project was ongoing.
